Respect Collserola! Summer in the Natural Park
With the arrival of high temperatures and the increase in visits, as every year, it is necessary to take extreme precautions and avoid any action that could increase the risk of fires. Together, we must protect Collserola.
Let's make Collserola a place to enjoy nature and respect animals and plants.
The residents of the Font del Mont neighborhood have been preparing for the neighborhood's Festa Major for days, a day long awaited by the whole neighborhood!
The party will be next September 3, 4 and 5. We can enjoy the proclamation, theater, dinner and the big dance. This year, due to the protocols set by Procicat, it is necessary to register in advance for the activities. Enter Festa Major and you will find the links.
As every year a big party awaits us!
The neighborhood of Font del Mont has an active neighborhood, on July 3 a few residents come together to clean up the garbage from some containers thrown on the mountain. For days now, residents of the neighborhood had opened several incidents through the Barcelona a la Butxaca app and as they had no response, it was the same residents who took the initiative to clean it up.
The Association of residents of the Font del Mont neighborhood launches new website!
The new neighborhood website changes its image. It is more dynamic, attractive, easy and intuitive.
It maintains, however, the same address: https://www.fontdelmont.cat
https://www.fontdelmont.cat, and has been done with the collaboration of the members of the Board of the Association and the residents of the neighborhood.
The Association of residents of the Font del Mont neighborhood together with a group of entities are part of the Advisory Council, which is the participatory body of the Collserola Natural Park. This Council is promoting a manifesto to demand more resources for the Natural Park aimed, among other things, at minimizing the risks in the event of a large fire.

Barcelona wakes up with a spectacular view of Mallorca
On February 11, one of our neighbors woke us up with this photograph. And many of us wondered, how could we see her so well and so well, despite the 200 miles away?
Different factors must be given. “It is necessary a clear atmosphere and a low humidity in all the trajectory, so much in Barcelona, as in the sea and in Mallorca. And in this case, there was a refractive index that raised the island. That is, depending on the temperature of the atmosphere, distant objects are deformed and look higher than they actually are.
The Font del Mont Residents Association is currently working on improving pavements, signage and mobility in the neighborhood.
The environment and climatic conditions mean that the pavements, lighting and cleaning of the spaces are checked every year.
All these issues were addressed in the visit of Mr. Blas Navalón, technical advisor of the district of Sarrià - Sant Gervasi, during which the priorities of the neighborhood were discussed, and in particular the arrangement of the Passage of the Font del Mont.
